[IV SEMINAR ON INFORMATION STUDIES: ETHICS AND INFORMATION POLICIES – AGENTS, REGIMES AND MEDIATIONS]

The Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência da Informação [Post-Graduate Program on Information Science] of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (PPGCI / UFF) will hold, from 9 to 11 September 2015, in the Auditorium of Institute of Mathematics and Statistics, Campus Gragoatá, Block G, Niterói, Brazil, the IV Seminário de Estudos de Informação: Ética e Políticas da Informação – Agentes, Regimes e Mediações [IV Seminar on Information Studies: Ethics and Information Policies – Agents, Regimes and Mediations].

With international character, the event will discuss themes related to politics and information regimes, in particular issues involving norms and hierarchies of value, as such as inclusion, accessibility, regimes of truth and the right to memory.

PROGRAM

Each day will be devoted to one of three lines of inquiry: I. Information Ethics; II. Information Policy; III. Right to information.
